If you would like us to call you to schedule your appointment, please send us an email with your phone number and the best time to reach you by telephone.

Friends or family who are accompanying patients are welcome to wait in our waiting area, or they are welcome join in your examination or consultation.

Types of Appointments
Routine Eye Exam: You will be asked if you have a preference of seeing a specific doctor, your name, telephone number, whether you have insurance to cover vision care, whether you are a new or previous patient of ours, and if your examination is for eyeglasses or contact lenses (or both).

Office Visit: An Office Visit is an appointment made for a medical eye problem (other than a routine eye exam). You will be asked if you have a preference of seeing a specific doctor, your name, telephone number, whether you have insurance to cover vision care, and whether you are a new or previous patient of ours.

Contact Lens Fitting:  A Contact Lens Fitting appointment is made if you have had a routine eye exam for eyeglasses within the past 3 months and you now wish to be fit with contact lenses. You will be asked if you have a preference of seeing a specific doctor, your name and telephone number.

Contact Lens Dispensing:  A Contact Lens Dispensing appointment is made if you have been notified by us that your new contact lenses have arrived. It is the appointment you need to schedule the time to come and pick up your new contact lenses. All contact lens dispensings MUST be evaluated by the doctor to ensure the lenses fit properly and to evaluation your vision with them.

Contact Lens Recheck:  A Contact Lens Recheck appointment is made if you already have the contact lenses prescribed by the doctor and he/she simply wants to recheck the fit and vision of the lenses after a period of time of adjustment. These appointments are best made in the afternoon or evening (after your lenses have been on your eyes for a minimum of 4 hours that day). You will be asked which specific doctor that is fitting you, your name and telephone number. It is best if you can schedule with the doctor that you have been seeing during the fitting process because he/she is familiar with the specific information regarding your fitting and can better evaluate and/or adjust your fitting.

Changing or Canceling Your Appointment
Your appointment is reserved solely for you. Because we respect your time, we do not double-book appointments in case of cancellations. Therefore, we ask you to notify us at least 24 hours in advance if you should need to change or cancel your appointment with us.

Contact Lenses, Solutions and the FDA
The FDA regulates all contact lenses and contact lens solution systems. The FDA approves all new contact lenses and solutions to be sold to patients and doctors and allows doctors to dispense them to their patients. They also make decisions on whether certain contact lenses or solutions should be not allowed to be available.

Because of this, contact lenses are considered a Medical Device, and therefore contact lenses must be prescribed and dispensed according to FDA regulations. It is this reason that ALL contact lenses MUST be evaluated by one of our doctors before released to the patient. If you have questions about this policy, please ask one of our doctors or helpful staff.
